Beam of Emotions

The relationship between humans, lights and environment has always been the core of vision. It marks the rhythms of our lives.  Industry of light has always been through an endless evolution.

We discovered this through Euroluce, the international lighting exhibition which runs every two years, leaves a mark yet again on the Salone del Mobile 2019.

It showcased more than 420 exhibitors which were distinguished in four pavilions, highlighting the different roles of lighting.

Today, the focus of most manufacturers has shifted towards emotional lighting solutions. For instance, the interactive exposition of ‘Preciosa’, played with different senses, revives the feel of fairytale plunging everyone who crossed the threshold into childhood.

One amongst the widening aspects of lighting, which just does not revolve around the functionality of the product but also inspires the designers to work with space in collaboration with the lighting expertise.

In some cases, light installations are created as a piece of art in the interiors adding additional grace to the space.

Often, there is a blurring line between the function and the emotions creating limitless opportunities in design: So, function is becoming emotional while emotions are becoming functional.

Certainly, behind most of these solutions are technologies that move the entire light industry forward.

As, Time is moving on, we are eagerly awaiting to witness the next discoveries from Euroluce in 2021.
